Dr. John D. Hull – Senior Pastor from 1994 to 2000

John Hull began his ministry at The Peoples Church on August 1, 1993.  By the time he took over as Senior Pastor in May 1994, he had a major challenge on his hand to stabilize the ministry. 

With direction from God and John’s skill set, he was able to instill a culture of stability in the midst of an unstable period and took the church into a new era. 

John will always be remembered for his great contribution to The Peoples Church.  He was instrumental in helping it regain its confidence as a great missionary church and to rediscover its vision. 

The “Faith promise giving” was revitalized and the need to correct the indebtedness was addressed.

John left the church in 2000 to join EQUIP Ministries in Atlanta as President. 

He will be fondly remembered as the pastor who took The Peoples Church from mourning into dancing.  A JOB WELL DONE!
